Honor 8A to be Announced on January 8 With Android Pie

Honor is going to announce its Honor 8A smartphone in China on January 8 and its price should be known only on the launch day. Huawei's Honor has mentioned that his upcoming smartphone will be launched on the date mentioned and this is the same device which was certified by model number JAT-TLOO and JAT_ALOO by TENAA last month. The handset is expected to come in Blue, Black, Red and Gold colour options and nothing has been said about the global rollout.

According to the rumoured specification of the Honor 8A smartphone, it will have a 6-inch (1560 × 720 pixels) HD + 19: 5: 9 2.5D curved glass display with a waterproof notch. In addition, it expects to operate with an octa-core MediaTek processor, which has 2.3 GHz clocking speed 3 GB RAM and PowerVR GE 8320 GPU. Out of the Box, it will come with Android 9.0 Pie Operating System, which will have EMUI 9.0 companies at the top.

This dual SIM variant smartphone will come with a dedicated MicroSD card slot which can be used to maximize memory up to 512GB because onboard storage is limited to 32GB or 64GB.
